Lombardy Region Headquarters

The new building, seat of the Lombardy Region, is one of the new icons of the Milanese Skyline.
Its considerable height also puts it in a position to receive high solar radiation at any time of the year.
Suncover's proposal with the Roll up 1000 system with fabrics Filtering Microscreen coupled with fabrics darkening curly curlers mounted on runner systems, has proved to be a winner thanks to the versatility and effectiveness of the solutions, both in terms of aesthetics and solar performance.

Louis Vuitton

For the new headquarters of Louis Vuitton's management and operational offices, designed by the Jean Marc Sandrolini studio, a textile system with suspended metal mesh fabrics fixtures was chosen for the energy control of solar radiation, while the lighting control was entrusted to Suncover's façade roller shutter systems.
A fully automated home automation management system manages the handling of the fabrics appliances according to daytime insolation conditions.

Bologna City Hall

Studio Cucinella in creating this iconic building in the centre of Bologna, the new headquarters of the City Hall, a prism made of glass and metal, decided to optimise the natural light flow with an interior system .
Suncover has produced chain-operatedType 2000 Roller blinds Shutters with fabric filtering light-coloured Suncover Microscreens, suitable for damping excess light radiationand allowing optimal lighting conditions for office activities.
The particular nature of the curtain wall glazing, in fact, allows, once the screens are wrapped, total transparency and the use of natural light flow as a primary source.

Bank of Italy Bologna

The regional headquarters of the Bank of Italy in Bologna, which is located in a historic building in the centre of Emilia, represented an important challenge for Suncover, as the design request of the technicians included the supply of an external screening system, to be installed on window holes equipped with a fanlight and tympanum and respecting the Bolognese tradition.
Therefore, Suncover, which includes in its range a solution designed to provide an answer to this demand for continuity and tradition, has created guided and winch-operated roller fabrics shutters, with red fabric darkening and overhung by darkening fixed arched fanlight panels. All in perfect harmony with the architectural restoration of the building.

Enzo Ferrari Museum

The one dedicated to Enzo Ferrari is not only a museum, but an engaging and exciting show where unique ingredients are mixed together. In the futuristic pavilion of over 2500 square meters, in addition to admiring the cars on display, there is a show that tells, through a fascinating film, the magical story of the 90 years of Enzo Ferrari's life. From the child, who discovered racing at the beginning of the 20th century, to the driver, from the Scuderia's animator to the manufacturer and his triumphs.

Uffizi Gallery

The Gallery occupies entirely the first and second floor of the large building built between 1560 and 1580 to a design by Giorgio Vasari: it is one of the most famous museums in the world for its extraordinary collections of ancient sculptures and paintings (from the Middle Ages to the modern age). The collections of 14th century and Renaissance paintings contain some absolute masterpieces of art of all times: just remember the names of Giotto, Simone Martini, Piero della Francesca, Beato Angelico, Filippo Lippi, Botticelli, Mantegna, Correggio, Leonardo, Raffaello, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, as well as masterpieces of European painting, especially German, Dutch and Flemish.

Expo 2015 Milan

In the context of EXPO 2015, the pavilion of the Bicocca University Complex, has chosen the motorized blinds Suncover type 3000 to create in simple dicretion the space for an improvised conference room.
The systems, guided by special profiles, rigid, together with the particular technical darkeningtextile, have allowed the necessary working conditions for the program of mini conferences in complete safety and perfectly integrated into the architecture of the installation.
